Ag Jeff Sessions Resignation Letter To The President

Dear Mr. President,

I am writing to formally tender my resignation as the Attorney General of the United States, effective immediately. It has been a privilege to serve in this role and work alongside you in advancing the priorities of the administration.

After much consideration, I believe it is in the best interest of the Department of Justice and the country that I step down from my position. I am confident that the department will continue to uphold the rule of law and serve the American people with integrity and dedication.

I want to express my deep gratitude for the opportunity to lead the Department of Justice and work on behalf of the American people. I am proud of the accomplishments we have achieved together and the progress we have made in upholding the principles of justice and fairness.

As I transition out of this role, I am committed to ensuring a smooth handover and providing any assistance necessary to facilitate the transition process. I will work closely with my successor to ensure a seamless transfer of responsibilities.
